MTWAPA MUNICIPALITY WEEKLY CLEAN-UP EXERCISE

Today, Mtwapa Municipality successfully conducted its weekly clean-up exercise across several wards as part of our commitment to maintaining a clean, healthy, and sustainable environment.

The clean-up activities were carried out in:
📍 Shimo la Tewa Ward – Bambino and Mbuzi Wengi Road.
📍 Mtepeni Ward – from Posta Road to North Coast Hotel.
📍 Junju Ward – from Shariani Stage to Vipingo Beach and Vipingo community center.

This initiative underscores our ongoing efforts to promote proper waste management, environmental conservation, and public health while creating a cleaner and healthier environment for all.

Together, let us continue working to keep Mtwapa clean and green because a clean environment is everyone’s responsibility.

🇰🇪Madaraka Day Celebrations – Mtepeni Ward 🇰🇪

Mtwapa Municipality joined other stakeholders and community members in celebrating Madaraka Day at Kireme Primary School, Bomani, in Mtepeni Ward.

The event was graced by the Deputy County Commissioner (DCC), Assistant County Commissioner (ACC), Senator Stewart Madzayo, Chiefs, Ward Administrators, representatives from the Office of the Member of Parliament, Mtwapa Municipality officials, and residents.

The celebrations provided an opportunity to reflect on Kenya’s journey towards self‑governance, promote national unity, and reaffirm our collective commitment to development and service delivery.

Mtwapa Municipality today held a sensitization forum on the municipal mandate at Vipingo CDF Hall in Junju ward, aimed at enhancing public awareness and strengthening collaboration with local leadership and stakeholders.

The forum brought together Board Members, Mtwapa Municipality staff, representatives from the Office of the Member of Parliament, the representative of the CECM of Lands, the Office of the Chief, and Village Elders.

Today, Mtwapa Municipality held a sensitization forum on its mandate at Makio Social Hall in Mtepeni Ward, bringing together key stakeholders to enhance public awareness and strengthen collaboration in service delivery.

The forum was attended by the CECM of Lands, DCC, Board Members, County Liaison Officers, Municipal Staff, Ward Administrators, the Office of the Chief, Office of the Member of Parliament, Office of the MCA, and Village Elders.
