CGP's Working Visit to Malindi Prisons Command.
The Commissioner General of Prisons, Mr. Patrick Aranduh, CBS, visited Malindi Main and Women Prisons during his working tour of the Coast Prisons Command.
The visit focused on security, discipline and operational readiness, with the CGP urging officers to uphold professionalism and remain prepared to effectively discharge their mandate.
Engaging inmates, the CGP encouraged them to embrace rehabilitation and self-improvement by actively participating in education, vocational training and other rehabilitation programmes that equip them with skills and values for a successful return to society.
The CGP was received by the Regional Prisons Commander, Coast, ACGP Hassan Tari, OGW, alongside CP Peter Komora, Officer in Charge, Malindi Main Prison, and ASP G. Komora, Officer in Charge, Malindi Women Prison.
He was accompanied by the Director, Prisons Enterprise, SACGP Charles Mutembei, MBS, among other senior officers.
