World Environment Day 2026: A New Milestone for Caryle

As we join the world in commemorating World Environment Day, we are excited to share that Caryle has been selected to join the CirculaRise Accelerator 2026 - Cohort 1, implemented by the Yunus Environment Hub.

Last week, we had the privilege of participating in the first training session as one of only seven green businesses from Western Kenya selected for the programme. We are excited to embark on this six-month journey of learning, innovation, and growth alongside fellow entrepreneurs who are advancing circular economy solutions in Kenya.

At Caryle, we have developed an integrated circular economy model that transforms textile waste into affordable reusable products, green jobs, and sustainable livelihoods. Through our ™, ™, and ™ product lines, we are demonstrating how environmental sustainability can go hand-in-hand with women's economic empowerment, improved access to essential products, and community development.

The CirculaRise Accelerator is designed to support growth-stage social enterprises in developing and scaling inclusive circular solutions by helping entrepreneurs bridge the gap between economic viability, environmental responsibility, and social impact. The programme aligns strongly with our mission of transforming waste into opportunity while creating lasting value for women, youth, and underserved communities.

We are grateful to Yunus Environment Hub, the WE4D Programme, GIZ, and the IKEA Foundation for investing in entrepreneurs who are building practical solutions for a more sustainable and inclusive future.
