Study the 50 page shortlisted candidates by the Turkana County Public Service board and make your own conclusions.
Our own conclusion is Loima and Turkana north are under-represented.Turkana East is so much over-represented that they have started incorporating neighbours from as far as Marigat (Baringo),iten (elgeyo Marakwet) e.t.c
Same to Turkana South who are incorporating people from West Pokot,Trans Nzoia e.t.c because they they have employed 'everyone' from their respective sub-counties.The post of 'Market clerk' seems to be a Turkana central affair.
Let us be honest,Turkana Public Service Board is innocent and balemeless.Turkana East/Turkana South Politicians/professionals are to be blamed, while people from Loima are 'entertained' with 'raw' politics eti serikali ni yenu and 'forced' to praise the governor, who he in turn,is always pre-occupied/entertained with choirs from 'Namcheezo' and mind-boggling politics, while Loima and the rest of Turkana except Turkana south and East 'suffer'
People from Loima, especially, the young',whose future has already been stolen,if they want to be competitive in future, should embrace learning foreign languages e.g french, german or/and arabic, and attending vocational courses at Lorugum and Lodwar vocational colleges, the future has been stolen already,a diploma or a degree in Turkana if you are from Loima, puts one at a disadvantage,as ALL government jobs,.
All diploma/degree jobs in Turkana are already booked or/and occupied, that journey started in 2014.
With a a diploma/degree,you are disqualified from junior jobs. For senior jobs, you are also disqualified because you you don't have a masters,so?
