441 days left to change Machakos.

Despite Machakos County receiving over Ksh 50 billion in the last four years, poor resource management and corruption continue to deny the people the services they deserve, as our hospitals still lack medicine, our ECD education system remains poorly managed, our urban centers have been overwhelmed by garbage, the local economy has been stifled by harassment and lack of services from the county, and many of our roads are still in deplorable condition.

Poor resource management and corruption are denying the people of Machakos the services they deserve.

The people of Machakos deserve leadership that listens, plans well, and puts their needs first. We cannot continue watching public resources go to waste while families struggle with poor healthcare, weak education systems, and bad roads.

Today, I joined the people of Kalama Ward for the groundbreaking ceremony of the Kalama DCC Office in Kyangala.

Joined leaders from across the county led by area MP Hon. Caleb Mutiso, Kalama Ward MCA Hon. Musyimi Maeke, amongst others.

Investing in public infrastructure is important in bringing services closer to the people and improving efficiency in service delivery.

The national and county governments are interdependent, and under my administration, I commit to working closely with the national government to ensure essential public services reach every corner of our great county.

446 days remaining to change Machakos.

Konza Technopolis Development Authority sits between Machakos, Makueni, and Kajiado counties.

It is a multi-billion dollar investment by the Government of Kenya, designed to make Kenya Africa's hub for science and technology. The communities surrounding it must benefit from the opportunities it creates.

At present, the County Government of Machakos has no strategy on how to leverage Konza Technopolis for the development of the county. This is shortsighted, and it is something I intend to change when I take office. We have large population of educated youth whom we should position to benefit from the opportunities that Konza presents. If we snooze we continue to lose !

I am deeply saddened by the passing of Aquiline Mbithe Mutiso, beloved wife of Vincent Mutiso and mother of Damian Katona, from Kangundo.

Vincent, no words can fully ease the pain of losing a life partner. But I want you to know that you are not alone in this moment of grief. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Damian, and your entire family.

452 days left to change Machakos.

Leadership requires honesty, accountability, and respect for the people.

As leaders engage voters, we must speak truthfully about challenges, priorities, and solutions, because trust is built through openness and accountability to the people we serve.

The truth of the matter is that devolved resources amounting to over Ksh 58 billion in the last four years have not yielded tangible benefits for the people of Machakos.

Our hospitals continue to struggle to meet the needs of patients, rural road networks remain in poor condition, and many of our urban centres are overwhelmed by garbage and darkness. The people of Machakos deserve better management of public resources and services that work.
