Today we had a candid discussion with women from Kameo and Mavivye. There main area of concern is raising cost of living and unemployment. They also said Kameo is very neglected on matters development.
I promised to play a role in championing friendly policies that promotes sustainable livelihoods.

Our communities are endowed with enormous resources that can be tapped to improve the lives and livelihoods of people. I visited the untapped Kwa Ngumbau water springs/source which have the potential to supply clean water around Katetani, Machakos girls, grogan and beyond. We will seek to work with the local community and the county government to ensure the community reaps full benefits of this valuable resource.
