Today, I joined family, friends, and the Kyamuoso community in paying our last respects to the late Ruth Kanyila Kasomi.

As we celebrate a life well lived, we also share in the grief of her passing. My heartfelt condolences go out to her family, loved ones, and all who knew her. May God grant you strength, comfort and peace during this difficult time and may Ruth's soul rest in eternal peace.

Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.

Today, I accompanied PS for Aviation, Teresia Mbaika-CBS , during the Emali Mulala Ward women Empowerment Event in Kibwezi West Constituency alongside Hon. Mwengi Mutuse, OGW, Hon. Fred Muteti and Hon. Kisoi.

It was a successful engagement that brought leaders and the community together, reaffirming our commitment to empowering wananchi through inclusive development initiatives. The enthusiasm and appreciation from the residents reflected the positive impact of such programs and the importance of continued collaboration in transforming lives.

I was honoured to attend the prize giving day at AIC Mwaani Ilima Senior School, a celebration of excellence, hard work and determination.

The school recorded an impressive 135 students transitioning to university — a clear reflection of the commitment by students, teachers, parents and the Board of Management.

The event was also graced by PS Aviation, Teresia Mbaika-CBS, whose presence added great inspiration to the students as they prepare for their next chapter.

Moments like these remind us that investing in education is investing in the future of our nation. Congratulations to the Class of 2025 and the entire AIC Mwaani Ilima Senior School fraternity. 🎓
