Bless Your Children 3
Remember, if you make the mistake of constantly speaking negative words over your children, you are cursing their future. Moreover, God will hold you responsible for destroying their destiny. With authority comes responsibility, and you have the responsibility as the spiritual authority over your child to make sure that he feels loved, accepted, and approved. You have the responsibility to bless your children.
Besides, we all want good things for our children. We want our kids to be blessed. Why not put those thoughts and feelings into words?
A blessing isn’t really a blessing until it is spoken.” Unexpressed gratitude or unshared goodwill holds its greatest potential when released into the world.
Say those words aloud that will bless your children: “You are a child of God. God has good things in store for you. You are blessed and cannot be cursed!” Then watch to see how your child begins to thrive, how his attitude about himself will change, how her actions with others will improve, as the blessings of God begin to take root in the lives of your children.

Bless Your Children 2
Whether we realize it or not, our words affect our children’s future for either good or evil.We need to speak loving words of approval and acceptance, words that encourage, inspire, and motivate our children to reach for new heights. When we do that, we are speaking blessings into their lives. We are speaking abundance and increase. We’re declaring God’s favour in their lives

All too often, parents slip into being harsh and critical with their children, nitpicking, and easily finding fault in whatever the kids are doing. “Why can’t you make better grades? Go clean your room — it looks like a pigpen! You can’t do anything right, can you?” Such negative words will cause our children to lose the sense of value God has placed within them.Certainly, as parents, we have a responsibility before God and society to train our children, to discipline them when they disobey, to lovingly correct them when they make wrong choices. But we should not constantly harp on our kids. If you continually speak words that discourage and dishearten, before long you will destroy your child’s self-image. And with your negative words, you will open a door, allowing the enemy to bring all sorts of insecurity and inferiority into your child’s life.

Bless Your Children 1
Beloved, As parents, we can prof- oundly influence the direction of our children’s lives by the words we say to them.Yet many parents fail to do so. “Oh, my kids know that I love them,” a lot of parents say. “They know that I pray for them.”Maybe so, but your childre ren need to hear those words of blessing in their lives. And the good news is that it is not difficult to change the tone around your home. You can begin speaking positive truth into your children’s lives any time you want. Joel and I try to speak God’s Word into the lives of children in our natural, ordinary, “everyday” circumstances of life. For instance, when I drop our kids off at school, before they even get out of the car, I remind them, “You are blessed today. You have the favour of God.”

Parents, you can do something similar. Speak God’s Word over your children every day before they go to school or go out to play. You don’t need to preach a sermon; just say something like, “God’s Word says that He loves you, and He has something special in store for you today!”
Or pray, “You promised me in Psalm 91 that You will give Your angels charge over us and that no evil would come near our household. So I thank You that my children are supernaturally protected, and You are guiding them and watching after them. Father, You said that we’re the head and not the tail, and You will surround us with favour. So I thank You that my children are blessed, and they will excel at whatever they put their hands to do.”

My Pain Will End One Day 2
God Has Not Forgotten You
God has all of eternity to lavish his kindness on us (Ephesians 2:7). As he has promised, “No eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him” (1 Corinthians 2:9). And I am convinced that the less earthly pleasure and reward we have received, the greater our pleasure and reward will be in heaven.

If you are struggling today, remember God has not forgotten you. He has engraved you on the palms of his hands (Isaiah 49:15 –16). He will never fail you or forsake you. He will walk with you through every dark valley. The God who has numbered every hair on your head / knows every sparrow that falls to the ground is aware of every detail of your situation. He is using your suffering and pain in ways you would not believe if someone told you.And after you've suffere- d a little while, God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. (1 Peter 5:10)

My prayer for you this week is that God will make His presence known in your life. I pray you will spend time searching His word, asking Him to reveal Himself. If you’re in the middle of a period of loneliness and isolation, cry out to God, as those cries never fall on deaf ears.

My Pain Will End One Day 1
Beloved, No matter what pain we are going through, if we are in Christ, we are assured that it won’t last forever. Our suffering is “momentary” and “for a little while” as we consider and experience it in light of eternity. God will make all things new; we have endless and painless joy awaiting us in heaven.

But heaven may feel like little comfort as days of pain on earth stretch into months and even years. All of us want deliverance in this life, and many of us will see it. Nothing is beyond God’s ability to redeem. He gives life to the dead and calls into existence things that do not exist (Romans 4:17). He knows exactly how long our pain will last, and he will give us everything we need as we wait. Nothing is too hard for him (Jeremiah 32:17). We can only live one chapter of our lives at a time, and none of us knows exactly what the next chapter will bring. Tomorrow may bring redemption beyond our wildest dreams, as Naomi, Joseph, and Job experienced. Or perhaps just a needed break from our pain and suffering. We may soon look back at today’s trials and marvel at God’s faithful hand in them.
We may never see the fulfillment of all we felt certain God would do. Like the saints throughout Scripture, who didn’t see God’s promises realized in their lifetime, we will have to trust that God has something better in store for us (Hebrews 11:13–16). A glorious inheritance. Untold riches. Crowns of glory. Pleasures forevermore. If we are his, our pain will most surely and completely end.

PROPHESY TO THE WIND 2
Ezekiel prophesied as he was commanded, but the very first thing God said would happen to the bones didn’t happen; there was no breath in them. He times ught this to God’s attention and God said to him, “…Then He said to me, 'Prophesy to the wind, prophesy, son of man, and tell the wind, "The Lord Yahweh says: Come from the four winds, breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live."'" — Ezekiel 37:9
Notice the difference this time: he was to prophesy to the wind, not the bones now. When he did, the Bible says, “…breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exce- eding great army” Ezekiel 37:10. This is as profound as it is instructive.
Sometimes, a word of prophecy comes to us, and we’re waiting for it to be fulfilled, and it doesn’t; so we think the prophecy was false. But we never asked the Lord what next to do as Ezekiel did. Ask the Holy Spirit the next step to take; the specific words to speak now. He’s our Instructor; He leads and guides us. He’ll show you what to do, and tell you what to say. Maybe you need to “Prophesy to the wind” too.

PROPHESY THAT THE WIND
WILL BLOW AGAIN 1.

Beloved, Are you aware that you can change hopeless situations and effect positive changes in your life through the creative power of God’s Word in your mouth? You can change anything through the gift of prophecy. To prophesy means to speak words of divine revelation and potency: words that have, and give life.

…Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD. Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live (Ezekiel 37:1-5).

In scripture, Ezekiel found him self in a valley full of dry bones, and the Lord asked him, “Can these bones live?” Ezekiel’s respo - nse was, “Lord, you alone can tell”; it was a hopeless situation. Nevertheless,God said to Ezekiel, “Prophesy to these bones”; He needed Ezekiel’s cooperation.

Unlocking the Prison Within 3
Romans 12:2 says, “Be transfor- med by the renewal of your mind.”
Beloved, Accountability is not humiliation, it is healing. A trust- ed friend, pastor, counselor, support group, or mentor can help you stay pointed toward the door when you feel weak.

Philippians 4:13says, “I can do all things through him who strength- ens me.”That does not mean you will never struggle. It means you are not powerless. With Christ, you can take the next right step.
If you feel like trapped by some thing you keep feeding, hear this with tenderness:the fact that you recognize the prison is already evidence that God is working. Conviction is not condemnation. It is an invitation.
Jesus is not standing outside your room with crossed arms. He is standing at the doorway with open hands.
You are not too far gone. You are not too weak. You are not too complicated for God.
The door is open.
Today, you can stop feeding what enslaves you and start feeding what restores you. One prayer. One confession. One boundary. One honest step. And the same Saviour who sets you free will also teach you how to stay free.
Renew your mind with truth when lies feel loud. Give yourself strength to take the next step, and humility to invite help where you need it. Lead yourself into healing, not just for a moment, but for a lifetime. Your story does not have to end in regret. Walk in freedom.
Emulate Christ Humility.

Unlocking the Prison Within 2
The enemy of your soul does not usually begin with a prison cell. He begins with a plate. A screen. A fantasy. A drink. A purchase. A hit of attention.A surge of control A moment of escape. He keeps offering what feels like relief, while slowly shrinking your freedom. The enemy feeds the very thing that is weakening you, not because he wants you satisfied, but because he wants you stuck. And the scariest part is how reasonable it sounds while it is happening:

“I deserve this.”
“It’s been a hard week.”
“Nobody understands.”
“I can stop whenever I want.”
“This is just how I cope.”
But appetites do not stay small. What you feed grows. What you starve weakens. And what you refuse to confront will eventually begin to command.

Recognizing the Modern-Day Cell
Here are a few of the most common “doors that stay open” while people remain trapped.

Food as comfort.
Food is a gift, but when eating becomes your refuge, it can quietly become your ruler. You are not just feeding hunger, you are trying to soothe pain, numb stress, fill emptiness, or reward exhaustion.
Proverbs 23:2 says, “Put a knife to your throat if you are given to appetite.”
That is vivid language, not bcos God is harsh, but bcos bo***ge is. Scripture is warning you: do not play with what can consume you. To be continued.
