Mwarekeronyi Water Project Set for a Major Facelift Courtesy of the County Government
Residents of Mgange Dawida Sub-location are set to benefit from the rehabilitation of the Mwarekeronyi Water Project funded by the County Government of Taita Taveta.
The project site has already been handed over to the contractor, paving the way for the commencement of works that will directly benefit residents of Kisheda, Mlambenyi, and Mwangea villages.
The scope of works includes sump construction, pipeline supply and installation, construction of chambers at the Ngulu intake, replacement of GI pipes from Mwarekeronyi Tank I to the Mlambenyi area, and installation of community water points.
Once complete, the project will enhance access to clean and safe water for residents and key institutions including Mgange Dawida Model Health Centre and Mwangea Comprehensive School, among other social amenities.
This intervention underscores the County Government’s commitment to improving access to clean and potable water for all residents.
