🌸 Groundbreaking for Hope: Faraja Cancer Support Centre 🌸

Today, we marked a historic milestone in the fight against cancer with the official Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Faraja Cancer Support Centre.

✨ This transformative project, funded by the M-PESA Foundation and officiated by H.E. Abdullswamad Sheriff Nassir, Governor of Mombasa County, will create a safe haven for patients and families.

More than a building, the Centre will be a place of psychosocial support, counseling, patient education, and wellness services; ensuring that no one walks the cancer journey alone.

This initiative reflects our shared commitment to improving cancer care and enhancing quality of life for communities across the Coastal region and beyond. Together, we are building not just infrastructure, but hope and resilience.

A Celebration of Hope, Resilience and New Beginnings:

The Newborn Unit (NBU) at is filled with joy as healthcare workers celebrate the successful recovery and discharge of Baby Eliana after an incredible 104 days of specialized newborn care.

Born prematurely on 23rd April 2026 as one of a set of twins, Eliana weighed just 875 grams at birth and later dropped to approximately 600 grams while facing serious complications. Despite the challenges, the dedicated NBU team continued to provide her with close monitoring, specialized care and unwavering support.

Slowly but surely, Eliana grew stronger. By the time of her discharge, she had reached 1,650 grams; a remarkable milestone and a testament to her resilience.

Today, Eliana’s story stands as a beautiful celebration of life, hope, teamwork and compassionate care. 💕👶🏽

Congratulations to Baby Eliana and her family, and heartfelt appreciation to the doctors, nurses and support staff of the NBU for their dedication throughout her journey.

From 875g to 1.65kg in 104 days, -a journey of hope worth celebrating.
