Murang’a County Government has officially commissioned Kangangu Dispensary in Maragua and Mitubiri Dispensary in Gatanga, marking another significant step in expanding access to quality and affordable healthcare services.

The new facilities will bring essential medical care closer to residents, ease the burden of long-distance travel for treatment, and enhance healthcare delivery at the community level.

This achievement underscores the county’s ongoing commitment to building a healthier, stronger, and more resilient society.

Murang’a Youth Service Cohort 9 has been fully onboarded for community service.

The youth will be engaged in cleaning and maintaining our towns while earning an income. Upon completion, they will proceed to vocational training centres, where they will acquire practical skills and be awarded NITA Grade III certificates.

To support their transition into self-employment, each beneficiary will also receive KSh 15,000 seed capital to help start their own businesses.

We continue to empower our youth towards a sustainable future.
