Voi Town came alive in spectacular fashion as the 𝗕𝗥𝗦 𝗕𝗶𝘇 𝗠𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻𝗶 𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗱𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻 stormed the Coast region with pomp, colour, music, dance, and unmatched energy!

The roadshow caravan traversed Voi, Mwatate, and the surrounding areas, drawing crowds of wananchi, traders, entrepreneurs, and youth eager to tap into opportunities for business growth and formalization.

Market women turned up in numbers, excited and ready to begin their business formalization journey. Boda boda riders received empowering information on protecting and growing their hustle, while shopkeepers and small business owners prepared to shift gears and take their enterprises to the next level.

From the buzzing streets to the electrifying interactions, Voi and Mwatate welcomed the BRS caravan with incredible enthusiasm and excitement. It was more than a roadshow, it was a movement of empowerment, transformation, and opportunity.

From the Rift Valley, Western, Nyanza, Central, Nairobi and Eastern, at every stop, Kenyans have experienced impactful public engagements, interactive sessions, entertainment, and one-on-one support services aimed at making business registration and formalization easier, faster, and more accessible.

The response from wananchi has been phenomenal, with vibrant participation, powerful interactions, and overwhelming support witnessed throughout the journey.

From Eldoret, Kakamega, Kisumu, Homa Bay, Migori, Kisii, Bomet, Kericho, Nakuru, Laikipia, Nyandarua, Nyeri, Embu, Nairobi, Kajiado, and Machakos Counties, the roadshow has continued to connect with Kenyans from all walks of life through impactful public engagements, interactive sessions, entertainment, and one-on-one support services.

The campaign has received a warm reception, vibrant participation, and meaningful interactions in every stop along the journey.

Last week, the Business Registration Service delegation led by Chairman Mr. Hamisi Mwaguya, Director General Kenneth Gathuma, Director Internal Audit CPA William Njeru, CISA, and Corporation Secretary, Ms. Debra Ajwang’ joined key stakeholders at the 3rd Revitalization and Re-engineering of Regulatory Authorities and Agencies Conference held at South Eastern Kenya University.

BRS was honoured as the leading Government Institution in Digital Transformation and Implementation, in recognition of its outstanding role in simplifying Kenya’s business landscape and enhancing ease of doing business. The institution was further celebrated for its contribution to job creation and economic growth through the efficient registration of business entities.

Today, BRS undertook a team-building exercise themed “Better Service, Greater Impact” as part of our ongoing commitment to improving service delivery and strengthening teamwork across the organization.

Speaking during the exercise, the Director General, Kenneth Gathuma, noted that the initiative is part of a robust culture change programme aimed at fostering collaboration, enhancing workplace synergy, and building a high-performing workforce committed to excellence in customer service delivery.

The initiative brought together staff in an engaging and interactive environment designed to promote unity, effective communication, innovation, and a shared sense of purpose among teams. The team buidling facilitator was EVO Teambuilders & Adventure.

Through such programmes, BRS continues to cultivate a positive organizational culture that not only enhances efficiency and productivity but also reinforces the institution’s commitment to delivering responsive, customer-centric services to the public and stakeholders.

Throughout the campaign period, the initiative has continued to engage entrepreneurs and encourage them to formalize their businesses through Registration, Protection, and Growth.

The roadshow has reached millions of Kenyans, providing a platform for direct interaction, public awareness creation, and a deeper understanding of the benefits of business formalization.

The campaign has also promoted awareness of compliance obligations, Business Rescue through the Office of Official Receiver, enhanced access to credit through Movable Property Security Rights, and created awareness on Trust Incorporation as a pathway for safeguarding and managing assets.

Today, the Service shall be traversing Kisii and its environs, as well as Bomet and Kericho Counties, to further engage wananchi, entrepreneurs, and business communities on the importance of formalizing and protecting their enterprises.
