A moratorium does not override the law on insurance compliance.

If your policy was cancelled after your insurer went under:
➡ You are required to obtain a valid cover
➡ Driving without valid insurance still carries legal consequences

Meanwhile, issues like premium refunds and policyholder rights are currently before the courts.

✔ Fully documented claims are processed within 90 working days
✔ Claims at finance stage are already paid or being finalized

Not all claims qualify automatically, and we understand how confusing that can be.
For a claim to be compensated by PCF, liability must have already been admitted by the insurer before it was placed under statutory management.
This means your claim must have one of the following:
✔ Repair Authority Letter
✔ Discharge Voucher (DV)
✔ Court Judgment
If you have any of these, you are eligible to proceed with your claim. Submit your claim today via the PCF Claims Portal: cms.pcf.go.ke

Yesterday, the Fund undertook a tree planting exercise in Sorget, Kericho County, reinforcing the importance of environmental conservation in protecting ecosystems, safeguarding water catchment areas, and combating climate change for a sustainable future.
The activity also aligns with the national call to grow 15 billion trees by 2032 and builds on our ongoing environmental initiatives, including mangrove restoration in Kilifi, tree planting in Ngong Hills, Kaptagat Forest, Geta Forest in Nyandarua County, and school greening programmes across the country.

We appreciate the partnership with the Kenya Forest Service (KFS), led by Forest Station Manager Mr. Kibenei, and the local community in advancing these efforts. Every tree planted is a step towards a greener and more sustainable country.
