Policyholders Compensation Fund (PCF) is a State Corporation under the National Treasury and Economic Planning that was established under Section 179 of the Insurance Act (CAP 487) and operationalized through the Legal Notice No. 105 of 2004.

Curtains have come down on the Policyholders Compensation Fund’s 5-day Makueni sensitization forum.It was an event full of interactions, discussion, and exchange of knowledge. Engaging our mashinani stakeholders is something we deeply value, ensuring that every citizen understands their rights and the safety nets available to them.Makueni County stakeholders were very active in engagement throughout this impactful five-day forum. Together, we are building a more resilient financial future.

Makueni County has officially kicked off today for a week-long sensitization exercise.

The programme began with an engagement with the media team, focusing on policyholder compensation, clarification of processes, and addressing key concerns.

Since 2023, has provided a structured forum for one-on-one engagement between PCF and key stakeholders, including the media, bodaboda and matatu operators, insurance agents, and other key partners.

The Fund had a great opportunity to engage with the legal fraternity during the LSK Annual Conference and create awareness about its mandate and compensation process. As key stakeholders, lawyers play an important role in supporting policyholders and claimants. The engagement strengthened collaboration and enhanced understanding of the Fund’s role.

The Policyholders Compensation Fund team, led by Deputy Director, Corporate Communications, Ms. Rosemary Kavili, paid a courtesy call on Makueni County Commissioner, Mr. Khalif D. Abdullahi, ahead of the upcoming PCFMtaani sensitization engagement forum.

The meeting focused on PCF’s mandate and collaboration with the National Government Administration to enhance public awareness and consumer across Makueni County.
