It is with great sadness that I learned of the passing of Haji Hassan Hussein, a respected elder and peacemaker who was held in high regard by the community.
His unwavering dedication to promoting peace and harmony among the communities of Mandera County will be remembered for generations to come.

Glad to have joined distinguished leaders led by Mandera Senator Hon. Ali Roba, Mandera Governor Hon. Adan Khalif, the Cabinet Secretary for Mining, Blue Economy and Maritime Affairs, Hon. Hassan Ali Joho, and my colleagues from Parliament led by our host, Hon. Abdul Kore, in a successful fundraising drive towards the construction of the Wargadud Mosque.

It was inspiring to witness the community come together in support of this noble cause.

May the Wargadud Mosque stand as a beacon of faith, unity, peace, and hope for generations to come. May Allah richly bless everyone who contributed and continues to support this worthy initiative.

As part of celebrating , I was proud to sponsor an exciting volleyball tournament that brought together various teams from across Rhamu. The competition culminated in a thrilling final between Township and Dana, with Township emerging victorious after a spirited display of talent and determination.

This event was more than just a competition it was a platform to promote sportsmanship, youth empowerment, teamwork, and community unity. It was inspiring to witness the passion, discipline, and resilience displayed by all the participating teams.

I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Township for their well-deserved victory and commend every team that took part for making the tournament memorable.

My sincere appreciation also goes to the organizers, officials, volunteers, and everyone who contributed to making this event a resounding success. Together, we continue to invest in our youth and build a stronger, healthier, and more united community through sports.
