We have three arms of government- Executive, Judiciary and Parliament (legislature). Their objectives are intertwined to provide the best for the nation and they are also set in a manner designed to provide checks and balances. The attempt to burn Parliament and Supreme Court was an attack on two with statehouse being the final blow to bring the country to its knees.
What would be the repercussions???
Statehouse is a place of custody for our historical and administrative engagements including treaties and other international related issues. Invading our own Statehouse means giving foreigners the opportunity to invade us as well. Absence of a central command means civil conflict and unfortunate loss of lives besides yielding our sovereignty to those will “support us to rise again” after we have destroyed our own country..
we have a country to guard!! Patriotism must always precede all other issues.

Hello good people, it is saddening to see Kenyans dying in protests due to ignorance. It is worthy noting that police officers are also humans and have families that depend on them. Therefore, our approaches during demos should be such that at the end nobody should be hurt.
It is worse when you decide to march into a police station and decide to attack. The officers are bound to protect themselves and the facilities there including weapons. It is therefore easy to get shot at, resulting to deaths or injury. Let’s know and keep our limits. Police Stations are a no go zone if you have no official business there and especially for protestors who are violent..
let our young generation learn and be careful..

To the young people out there, ahead of the demonstrations planned for Monday 20th I feel it is my responsibility to make you understand policy guiding on the same. The constitution allows you to picket and hold demonstrations in a well planned and organized way which also involves incorporating security personnel in your plans.

Property rights of every citizen are well guarded under the Bill of rights and therefore in your demos you cannot engage in destruction of property or looting as this amounts to malicious damage and is an offence.

Consequently, it is good to know that some areas like State House are out of bounds. They are well protected under the constitution and even taking photos alone is prohibited for security reasons. Let no one cheat you into moving to that direction, it is a direct threat to your own life. It is the same as throwing a stone at the president while he is walking by.

If you must demonstrate just know where to be and what not to do. It’s your right; but it cannot affect other people’s rights!!

It is your right to be served right. Have you been to a government office and didn’t get satisfaction? Share the problem and we shall offer best guide towards how to go about it.
Every time you visit a public office always note the person who served you and if possible know their name. This helps in your future engagements in the same office. Never leave without a feedback, either an appointment date or proper direction on what you ought to do. Try to know the channel of communication-for instance avoid going to the county level if you haven’t visited the sub county.
Government has representation at every level starting from Sub-Location, Location, Sub County, County, Regional, National.. always start at the lowest level and only move upward if the person at that level is unwilling to act.
