General Francis Ogolla, is the 11th CDF following his promotion to the rank of General and appointed CDF of the Kenya Defence Forces by His Excellency Dr. William Samoei Ruto, President of the Republic of Kenya and the Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Forces on 28th April 2023.

Previously, General Ogolla served as the Vice Chief of Defence Forces from 2021-2023 and Commander Kenya Air Force from 2018-2021.
