The Integrated Financial Management Information System (IFMIS) continues to play a vital role in strengthening the management of public resources and supporting Kenya’s Public Financial Management reform agenda. Through the automation and integration of key government financial processes, IFMIS supports greater efficiency, transparency, accountability and improved financial reporting across the public sector. The system provides an important platform for strengthening financial controls, enhancing access to timely information and supporting better decision-making in the management of public funds.
