The National Assembly Speaker Dr.Moses Wetan'gula E.G.H has arrived in New Delhi, India, for an Official Visit to the Lok Sabha at the invitation of his counterpart, the Hon. Shri Om Birla, Speaker of the Lok Sabha.
He was received by H.E. Amb. Mary Mutuku, Deputy Head of Mission of the Republic of Kenya to India, alongside Hon. Umeshbhai Babubhai Patel, Member of the Lok Sabha.
The visit aimed at deepening the longstanding friendship, parliamentary ties and cooperation between Kenya and India.

Ford-Kenya Women Leaders have declared support for President William Ruto's re-election in the next general elections.
‎They believe the President has initiated several development projects particularly in Nyanza and Western regions which need a second term to be fully implemented.
‎Speaking in Kisumu City today, the Deputy Party Leader Hon. Millicent Abudho called on President Ruto to revive the Kazi Mtaani programs, arguing that it would provide employment opportunities and reduce the youth involvement in violence and goonism.

Present were Women's President Madam Pauline Nagila, Deputy SG Madam Elizabeth Iminza, Elections Director Madam Khadija Mustafa, Nominated MCA Hon. Linda Kharakha and Hon. Rose Irene Achieng MP Aspirant Kisumu Central and Membership Recruitment Officer Mr. Samwel Masinde among other leaders.

They briefed him on how the FORD-Kenya Nandi branch is preparing to deliver more seats for the party coming next year's general elections.
