The Delegation continued their journey through Israel 🇮🇱 with experiences that showed how ideas, expertise and innovation can translate into real human impact.

At Save A Child's Heart the delegation witnessed the life-changing work being done to provide lifesaving cardiac care to children from around the world — including many from Africa. ❤️‍🩹🌍

Their journey then took them to The Peres Center for Peace & Innovation מרכז פרס לשלום ולחדשנות , where they explored Israel’s story of innovation, entrepreneurship and the belief that challenges can inspire solutions that make a difference far beyond borders.

From saving lives to solving problems, the day offered a powerful reminder: innovation matters most when it serves people. 🌍🤝🇮🇱

From tasting innovative products to learning about research in alternative proteins and food technologies, the visit sparked conversations about food security, sustainability and the possibilities that innovation can unlock for the future.

🕯️ Remembering October 7 | Nova Festival Memorial

As part of their journey through Israel, the African Influencers Delegation visited the Nova Festival Memorial site, a place that carries the memory of the lives lost during the October 7, 2023 attacks.

Standing at the site, the delegation heard a firsthand testimony recounting the events and violence of that day, bringing a deeply human perspective to a tragedy often encountered through headlines, images and statistics.

The visit was a moment to listen, remember and bear witness. Behind every number is a person, a family, a story and a life forever changed.

For the delegation, experiencing the memorial firsthand offered an opportunity to better understand the human impact of October 7 and to reflect on the importance of hearing the stories of those who lived through it.

Today, our Patriarchs of Faith from 🇰🇪🇺🇬🇹🇿🇲🇼 in their tour of Israel organized by Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs 🇮🇱 and Israel in Kenya visited Hadassah University Medical Center in Jerusalem, gaining firsthand insights into Israel’s innovative approach to healthcare.

For many of these religious leaders, who also run faith-based hospitals, the briefing on the use of AI in healthcare and emergency trauma management was particularly valuable.

A day of learning, sharing experiences and exploring new opportunities for collaboration.

Today is a great day in Jerusalem! 🇮🇱✝️

Patriarchs of Faith from Kenya🇰🇪, Uganda🇺🇬, Tanzania🇹🇿 and Malawi🇲🇼 have gathered in Jerusalem for a special journey coordinated by Israel in Kenya and Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs -walking in the footsteps of the people, places and stories at the heart of the faith they teach and believe in.

They were blessed to begin the day on the Mount of Olives, taking in its profound biblical significance, guided by Ms. Sigal from Israel Experience and enriched by her Israeli perspective and experience.

A meaningful journey of faith, fellowship and discovery in the Holy Land. 🇮🇱🙏

The journey through Israel took our African influencers to the Mount of Beatitudes, overlooking the Sea of Galilee — traditionally associated with Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount and His timeless teachings of faith, mercy, peace and love. 🕊️

But the journey became even more personal at the Jordan River. 💧

For several members of the delegation, standing in a place so deeply connected to the Christian faith inspired a life-changing decision: to give their lives to Christ and be baptised in the waters of the Jordan. 🙏🏾

To be baptised in the same river associated with the baptism of Jesus made the experience especially profound — a moment filled with prayer, emotion, celebration and renewed faith.

From visiting the places where biblical stories unfolded to experiencing a new chapter in their own faith journeys, this was a day that went far beyond sightseeing.

Some places you visit. Some experiences stay with you forever. ❤️

The journey of discovery continued at Hadassah Medical Center, where the African influencers delegation stepped inside one of Israel’s leading medical institutions to explore its story, healthcare expertise and approach to patient care.

Beyond seeing the facilities, the visit sparked conversations about what knowledge exchange can make possible. For members of the delegation, it was also an opportunity to reflect on how experiences and ideas encountered in Israel could inspire solutions back home in Africa.

As one participant from Nigeria shared, the goal is to see more patients receive the treatment they need without having to travel abroad. 🇳🇬❤️

Because sometimes the most meaningful part of a journey is not only what you discover — but what you take home with you. ✨

🌍 Africa Meets Israel 🇮🇱 | Day One: Jerusalem

What better place to begin the journey than Jerusalem — a city where history, faith and centuries of tradition meet. ✨

On their first day in Israel, our delegation of African influencers and content creators stepped into the heart of the Old City, exploring some of Jerusalem’s most significant religious and historical sites.

From walking through ancient streets and visiting the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, to experiencing the Western Wall, it was a day of discovery, reflection and powerful first impressions.

For many, these were places they had heard and read about for years — now experienced firsthand. 🙏🏾
