The Magical Kenya Travel Expo 2026 presents an opportunity to showcase Kenya's diverse tourism offerings, forge strategic partnerships and strengthen the country's position as a leading tourism destination. The Expo brought together over 10,000 delegates and 430 exhibitors.
Tourism Fund Board chairperson Samson Some and CEO David Mwangi were in attendance, reaffirming the Fund's commitment to supporting the growth of Kenya's tourism sector.

Through the Tourism Fund Upskilling Programme and Recognition of Prior Learning initiative, 252 beneficiaries were today awarded certificates at The Michuki National Polytechnic, marking an important milestone towards enhancing professionalism in Kenya’s tourism and hospitality sector.

The initiative invests in human capital, expands opportunities for young people and contributes to the Government’s BETA economic agenda. The event was presided over by Tourism Fund Board of Trustees Member, Dorcas Mbalanya.

Tourism Fund congratulates 237 graduands from the upskilling programme at Kaiboi National Polytechnic, Nandi County. The programme certified 166 workers through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), trained 41 managers and hotel owners, and equipped 30 youth with content creation skills.

Sponsored by Tourism Fund, the initiative aims at enhancing the skills of tourism and hospitality workforce.

The ceremony was graced by the County Secretary Dr. Francis Sang, County Government of Nandi alongside Tourism Fund Board Chairperson Samson Some.

Managers and Directors from Murang’a County today completed an upskilling programme supported by the Tourism Fund. The programme is aimed at strengthening their leadership, management and professional skills to enhance service delivery and contribute to the growth of the tourism sector.
