Police independence cannot exist when the police answer to the political class. 🇰🇪

As SG Omondi K’oyoo says, Kenya needs a police service that answers to the Constitution and the people and not politicians.

Truth and transparency are not optional, they are the cornerstone of credible elections.

Kenyans have a right to accurate and honest information on any proposed amendments to our electoral laws. Where legislation is before Parliament, public communication should reflect the facts and allow citizens to engage meaningfully in the democratic process.

The National Liberal Party reiterates that openness, accountability, and public participation must remain central to any electoral reforms. Public confidence in our electoral institutions is built through truthfulness, not confusion.
