Invitation to Public Participation…
Section 27 (1) of the Act requires that, the Chairperson of the Constituency Committee shall within the first year of a new parliament and at least once every two years thereafter, convene open forum public meetings in every ward in the constituency to deliberate on development matters in each ward and in the Constituency. This is also in line with Article 10 of the Constitution of Kenya and it aids in identification of priority projects both immediate and long term.
Based on the above, Mandera South National Government Constituency Development Fund Committee wishes to invite all Mandera South constituents i.e. youth, women, chiefs, Head teachers, person living with disability and other stakeholders to attend public forum that would be held on dates and venue indicated below: -
1). 23rd Nov 2024 Wargadud Ward- (Wargadud town, Elele, Qoloy, Tuli and Buqe)
venue: Wargadud Baraza Park

2). 24th Nov 2024
Shimbir Fatuma Ward-
(Shirbir Fatuma, Chachabole, Burmayo South, Burmayo North, Qalanqalesa & Fincharo)
Venue: Shimbir Fatuma Primary-

3). 25th Nov 2024
Kutulo Ward- (Kutulo, Kutayu, Elram, Boji Garse, Lahele, Dabacity, Garsesala & Borehole 11)
Venue: Kutulo Baraza park

4). 26th Nov 2024
Elwak South & Elwak North Wards- (Elwak town, Elwak South, Bula afya, Udole & Wante).
Venue: NG-CDF hall
9:00am - 2:00pm
The members of the public are invited to give their views through oral or written submissions.
Written submissions can be delivered in hard copies or mailed through [email protected] so as to reach the Mandera South NG-CDF Office on or before 28th November 2024
