KeNAAM

KeNAAM The Kenya NGOs Alliance Against Malaria (KeNAAM) is a network of Kenyan civil society organisations (CSOs) working to eradicate malaria in Kenya.

So join us to make Kenya malaria free.. The Kenya NGO Alliance Against Malaria (KeNAAM) is a network of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) providing Malaria and related health services in Kenya. The foundation of KeNAAM was driven by the realization that at that time, 2001, there was no single institution in the country that could singly reverse the devastating trends of Malaria hence the need to

pool resources together to compliment the Ministry of Health in tacking the disease. Since 2001, KeNAAM has been able to contribute to health and influence the implementation of the public health systems and policies through the direct services provided to the communities by her members. This has given KeNAAM a unique ability to interact with communities; react to community needs/issues and engage with affected and vulnerable groups. KeNAAM has strength in the community systems strengthening initiatives which aim at achieving improved outcomes for interventions to deal with major health challenges such as WASH, malaria, tuberculosis, and other health system issues. It emphasizes on strengthening community based and community led systems for: prevention, treatment, care and support; advocacy; and development of an enabling and responsive environment.
