Earlier today, REREC marked a significant milestone in Kisioyi village, West Bukusu ward as we officially commissioned a rural electrification program that has connected more than 47 households to the national grid at a cost of Kshs 7.1 million

For decades, residents of Kisioyi and many parts of Bumula Constituency in Bungoma county have lived without electricity affecting their economic and social prosperity.

Through this program, access to electricity is not only a basic necessity but also a key driver of economic growth, education and improved living standards. This is part of our broader commitment to ensuring that every part of Bumula Constituency is opened up and interlinked.

Residents expressed their gratitude, describing the project as a dream come true after years in darkness and waiting.

Inspiring the next generation through energy awareness and innovation.
Today, we were delighted to host students at the REREC stand during the Machakos ASK National Show. The learners had an opportunity to interact with our team, explore various electrification and renewable energy projects, and gain insights into the role of sustainable energy in driving socio-economic development. Through such engagements, we continue to nurture curiosity, share knowledge, and inspire young minds to explore opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and the energy sector.
