The residents of Sikulu Village in Likuyani Constituency, Kakamega County now have something to smile about after the Sikulu Rural Electrification Project was officially commissioned today by the Cabinet Secretary for Energy & Petroleum Hon. Opiyo Wandayi accompanied by the area Member of Parliament Hon. Innocent Mugabe.
The project now connects 128 homesteads to reliable electricity at a cost of Ksh 5.7 million.
It is a powerful step forward for the people of Likuyani Constituency, proving once again how access to electricity uplifts communities and strengthens essential services.
