Visit by women Groups under the Ushanga Intiative to Ewaso Tanners, this a collaborative Effort between ENSDA and Ushanga Intiative, The Women groups would be able to access leather at an affordable price and cut down on cost.

MD ENSDA Mr Ngala Oloitiptip, today Received the Board Chairperson Lt. Gen (Rtd) Walter Raria Koipaton , Board directors Dr. Isaih Njoroge Gatongi, Knight lekolool , Hassan ali Adams, Wanjiku Manyatta and Doudley Matagi.
At the Authority.

The Chairman and board Directors were briefed on Authority Ongoing and Planned Projects.

Later the Chairman, Board members and Management visited Ewaso Ng'iro Tanners and NCC Model-ilkerin Borehole.

The Chairman and Board members were impressed by Efforts management is putting in leather Value addition and Drought mitigation within the Community.

The MD informed the Board members that Ewaso Tanners is targeting to do upto 2 million pairs of Shoes, as part of Government Agenda to produce 10 million pairs of Shoes.

In adherence to H.E President William Ruto Directive to plant 15 Million trees.
The Board Chairman lead Board Director and Management in planting indigenous Trees along the Tannery Green belt

Leather industry technical committee presented its report to H.E Dr. William Samoei Ruto , C.G.H at State House, Nairobi.
