URGENT RELEASE
In a remarkable moment of political evolution, Kenya has witnessed the historic merger between two of its most prominent political figures, President William Ruto & Prime Minister Raila Odinga. This alliance marks a significant step towards uniting the nation and fostering a spirit of collaboration for the greater good of all Kenyans.
Both Raila Odinga and William Ruto have, over the years, demonstrated unwavering commitment to the progress and prosperity of Kenya. By coming together, Raila and Ruto are not only setting aside past differences, but they are also embracing the potential of working collectively to tackle the pressing issues facing our nation under the Broad-Based Government.
In line with the findings of the NADCO Report, which I had the honor of being a summit member of when Rigathi Gachagua was calling on the people of Mt. Kenya to reject and not participate in proposal presentation, this merger represents a critical opportunity for unity and growth. The report highlighted the importance of inclusive leadership, economic cohesion, and political collaboration across all regions of Kenya. It is now imperative that all regions, including the Mt. Kenya region, stand behind this historic partnership.
Mt. Kenya has always been at the heart of Kenya’s political landscape, and the region’s support for this merger will be instrumental in shaping the country’s future. I call on the people and leadership of Mt. Kenya to support this strategic alliance. It is an opportunity to transcend past divisions and join hands in creating a prosperous Kenya that works for everyone, ensuring that the region continues to play a vital role in the nation’s growth.
I offer my heartfelt congratulations to both President William Ruto & Prime Minister Raila Odinga. Your leadership and willingness to come together for the benefit of Kenya is a testament to the strength of vision, character, and patriotism. May this partnership pave the way for a prosperous and harmonious Kenya.
H.E Mwangi Wa Iria,
USAWA PARTY LEADER.
