🕯️ Where were you on September 11, 2001?

Next week marks 25 years since 9/11, a day that reshaped the time since for the military-connected community: deployments, loss, and a weight that’s been carried across a generation.

DA’s Global Veterans & Military Families Caucus is collecting reflections, memories, and photos from the DA community for a special “Where Were You?” project ahead of the 25th anniversary. Your submission may be featured in a graphic, photo mural, or map shared on the anniversary. We want to know:

✍️ What that day meant to you

SEPTEMBER IS UPON US! Hello good people! Midterm Elections are ~60 days away and while this means it’s also Pumpkin Spice Season, before you reach for a latte (we have a good PSL copy recipe we can share btw) — we need you to reach for VotefromAbroad.org and confirm you’ve requested your ballot!

It’s also the season for tabling and phone banking so if you’d like one of these snazzy Democracy Defender high viz volunteer vests, we need YOU to sign up for some volunteer shifts!!

More details on voting are forthcoming but trust that we have court cases and injunctions being fought RIGHT NOW to ensure you can still vote no matter what, so let’s all do our part too!
