Athi Water Works Development Agency (AWWDA) is participating in the Africa Forward Summit 2026, a high-level AfricaโFrance platform convened in Nairobi to strengthen strategic partnerships, promote innovation, and unlock sustainable investment opportunities across the African continent.
The Summit, held on 11th and 12th May 2026, brings together African and French Heads of State and Government, senior policy leaders, investors, private sector executives, multilateral development institutions, academia, and young innovators to explore shared solutions on key development priorities.
The discussions focus on reforming the global financial architecture, accelerating the development agenda, promoting energy transition, advancing green industrialisation, unlocking the blue economy, strengthening sustainable agriculture, harnessing artificial intelligence and digital technologies, improving health systems, and enhancing peace and security.

On 11th May 2026, AWWDA participated in the Business Forum dubbed โ๐๐ณ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฎ ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฑ: ๐๐ป๐๐ฝ๐ถ๐ฟ๐ฒ & ๐๐ผ๐ป๐ป๐ฒ๐ฐ๐โ, held at the University of Nairobi, which served as a key pillar of the Summit. The Forum provided a strategic engagement space for Africa-France economic collaboration, attracting approximately 1,500 African and French CEOs, investors, and public decision-makers.
The Business Forum aimed at strengthening cross-investments and partnerships through structured networking opportunities, B2B and B2G engagements, and interactive sessions showcasing bankable projects, innovations, and ideas from both regions.
