OFFICIAL CALL FOR ASPIRANTS — 2027 GENERAL ELECTION
KSC INVITES QUALIFIED KENYANS TO APPLY FOR THE 2027 GENERAL ELECTION
The Kenya SocialCongress(KSC) hereby invites qualified, committed and patriotic Kenyans who share the Party's vision, principles and ideology to express their interest and apply to contest for elective positions on the kenya social congress ticket in the 2027 General Elections.
The Party is seeking candidates of integrity, competence, patriotism, leadership ability and commitment to democratic collectivism who are prepared to serve the people of Kenya and advance the national transformation agenda of the Kenya Social Congress
ELECTIVE POSITIONS OPEN FOR ASPIRANTS
The Party invites applications for:
1. Member of County Assembly (MCA) — Ward level
2. Woman Representative — County level
3. Member of Parliament (MP) — Constituency level
4. Senator — County level
5. Governor — County level
6. President of the Republic of Kenya — National level
The Party encourages qualified Kenyans from all counties, communities, regions, professional backgrounds, youth and women groups to participate in this process.
OUR CALL TO ASPIRANTS
KSC believes that Kenya requires a new generation of leadership based on democracy, social accountability, justice, national unity, democratic participation and collective national development.
We therefore call upon citizens who believe they can provide responsible leadership to come forward and seek the Party's nomination.
We are particularly interested in candidates who demonstrate:
- Integrity and honesty;
- Commitment to constitutional democracy;
- Respect for the rule of law;
- National rather than tribal leadership;
- Commitment to economic development and job creation;
- Respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms;
- Commitment to devolution and effective county governments;
- Commitment to youth and women's participation;
- Accountability in the use of public resources;
- Commitment to peaceful and issue-based elections; and
- Loyalty to the principles and policies of the Kenya Social Congress
APPLICATION AND NOMINATION
All prospective aspirants shall be required to comply with the Constitution of Kenya, electoral laws, IEBC requirements and the Kenya Social Congress Constitution, nomination rules and code of conduct.
The Party shall establish an appropriate nomination and vetting process through which aspirants will be assessed before receiving the Party's nomination certificate.
Candidates should ensure that they satisfy the applicable legal requirements for the position they seek. For example, the Constitution provides specific qualification requirements for parliamentary candidates, including voter registration, citizenship requirements and nomination by a political party or compliance with the requirements applicable to independent candidates.
A NEW GENERATION OF LEADERSHIP
KSC upon Kenyans who have the courage, experience, knowledge and commitment to transform their communities and the country to take this opportunity seriously.
We are not merely looking for candidates to occupy public offices. We are looking for leaders who will serve the people.
The Party's objective is to build a strong national political organisation capable of winning representation from the County Assembly to the Presidency and implementing the kenya social congress national programme.
MESSAGE TO KENYANS
The 2027 General Election presents an opportunity for Kenyans to choose leaders who will put the interests of the nation above personal, ethnic and sectional interests.
The Kenya Social Congress therefore invites all qualified citizens who believe in our vision to come forward and participate in building a free, united, democratic, prosperous and strong Republic of Kenya.
