COMMANDANT, NPCE 'A' CAMPUS INSPECTS NEW NPC LII FIELD TRAINING CAMPUS – MERU
The Commandant National Police College Embakasi (NPCE) ‘A’ Campus, Mr Isaac Alimaa, MBS, OGW, SAIG, conducted an official inspection visit to the newly established National Police College LII Field Training Campus in Meru County.
The visit aimed to assess the camp’s state of readiness ahead of the forthcoming Fieldcraft and Tactics Training programme.
Upon arrival, the Commandant was accorded a warm reception by the Member of Parliament for Igembe North, Hon. Julius Taitumu.
Hon. Taitumu expressed unreserved support for the establishment of the training facility in the region, noting that the programme would play a critical role in addressing insecurity. He further observed that the camp’s presence would serve as a significant catalyst for local development and reaffirmed his commitment to providing all necessary support for the initiative.
The Commandant was subsequently taken on a tour of the facility by Mr Abraham Kemboi, SP, Director, School of Basic and Supervisory Training at NPCE ‘A’ Campus, who briefed the delegation on the camp’s infrastructure and operational preparedness for the upcoming training.
Also present during the assessment were Mr Charles Mutuma, AIG, Commandant NGAPU; Ms Bianca Nzioki, MBS, PSC(R), AIG, Director of Training and Research; Mr Chelule,CP County AP Commander Meru; and Mr Emanuel Busienei, SSP, Chief Instructor, NPCE ‘A’ Campus, among others.
