The present and future prosperity of our great nation will be shaped by inclusive and participatory planning. Real and meaningful development can only be achieved through foresighted and strategic planning.

This morning, I was honoured to join my colleagues, under the leadership of His Excellency the President, Dr. William Samoei Ruto, for the launch of the Beyond 2030 National Conversation.

The event, held at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre, brought together stakeholders from different segments of Kenyan society to chart the course for our nation’s future.

This afternoon, I joined the Esani Mixed Senior School fraternity for a Thanksgiving and Fundraising Ceremony in Nyamira County.

The event, which brought together alumni, the local community, leaders, and other stakeholders, was organised to mobilise resources for the development of the school's infrastructure.

As the Government continues to invest in improving learning infrastructure across the country, support from alumni, communities, development partners, and other stakeholders remains essential in complementing these efforts. Giving back to our alma maters is a noble way of strengthening our schools and creating a better learning environment for future generations.

I was joined by the Nyamira County Woman Representative, Hon. Jerusha Momanyi, and other leaders in supporting this worthy cause.

This Morning, I officially opened the 2026 Chama Cha Kiswahili Cha Africa Mashariki (CHAKAMA) international conference at Kisii University.
