The National Police Service works tirelessly to ensure the safety of every citizen—especially during the busy end-year and New Year celebrations. It is often only later in January that they find time to pause and celebrate their dedication and service.
It was therefore an honour to be part of the Kangemi Police Station End-Year Party, held in the heart of Kangemi Central Ward. The event was graced by Hon. Wilson Anyangu Murundu, alongside other distinguished leaders including Hon. Betty Adera of the Betty Adera Foundation and Hon. Shawn, Chairperson of the Liquor and Licensing Unit, Westlands Sub-County.
Hon. Wilson Anyangu Murundu reaffirmed the importance of strong collaboration between civilians and our brothers and sisters in uniform, sharing powerful insights on how to make Kangemi Central Ward a better place for all. He emphasized the call for all of us to be solution providers to the challenges in our community—an approach that nurtures responsibility, unity, and positive citizenship.
The introduction of the new Assistant County Commissioner for Kangemi Division, Mr. Lawrence, and the new Senior Chief for Kangemi Location, Mr. Ngare, was a clear signal that all government institutions in Kangemi are ready to work cohesively with the community.
Special appreciation goes to the Officer Commanding Station (OCS), Kangemi Police Station, for the leadership and partnership demonstrated.
Through the leadership of Hon. Wilson Anyangu Murundu, we remain committed to making Kangemi Central a safer, stronger, and better place for us all.
