Ending September with a grateful heart. 🙏❤️

Looking back, I’m thankful for God’s faithfulness, protection, and countless blessings throughout the month. Every moment, challenge, and achievement has been a reminder of His grace.

“O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.”Psalms 136:1

This morning, I joined the Cabinet Secretary for Defence, Hon. Soipan Tuya, in an engagement with the Commissioners of the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC), led by the Chairperson, Sammy Chepkwony, at Defence Headquarters.

The engagement focused on the implementation framework for the Integrated Defence Civil Staff Management Policy, which is aimed at strengthening the management, integration and coordination of civilian staff within the Ministry of Defence.

The Policy has made significant progress, and the current focus is on finalising the implementation framework to facilitate its effective rollout. Its implementation will enhance synergy and integration among Ministry of Defence civil staff, enabling them to more effectively contribute to service delivery and support the Kenya Defence Forces in the ex*****on of its mandate.

The engagement provided an important platform for the Ministry and SRC to align on the outstanding areas and chart the way forward towards finalising the framework and commencing implementation of the Policy.

The meeting was attended by Heads of Department from the Ministry of Defence.

Today , I had the pleasure of hosting a delegation of friends from West Pokot being led by HON. Simon Kelekem at my residence for a chit-chat and meaningful engagement.

We shared ideas, reflected on matters of mutual interest, and strengthened our bonds of friendship and unity.

Grateful for the warm fellowship and valuable conversations.

This evening, I joined the Sambai family of kapkures ward, soy constituency to convey my heartfelt condolences following the loss of Mzee John Kipkener Sambai.

I also had the honour of presiding over a fundraiser held to support the family in facilitating the burial arrangements.

To my friend and former CEC, Hon. Shadrack Sambai, and the entire Sambai family, please accept my sincere condolences during this difficult time. May God grant you strength, comfort, and peace as you mourn the loss of your loved one.

May the soul of Mzee John Kipkener Sambai rest in eternal peace. 🕊️

“I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord.” — Psalm 122:1

I joined PS Tourism, Prof. Julius Bitok, and congregants of AIC Kabawa Fellowship Church in Kuinet-Kapsuswa Ward, Soy Sub-County, for a blessed church service.

I also witnessed the presentation of a new vehicle to the church pastor, Rev. Sitienei—a generous contribution that will support the work of the ministry and enhance the church’s outreach and service to the community.

May God bless the church, its leadership, and all those who contributed towards this noble cause.

To God be the glory. 🙏
