On 29th May 2026, together with the Rani Ramchandani Foundation (RRF), area leaders, and the Lions Club of Menengai, we visited Kabarnet, Baringo County, where we carried out impactful activities in two different schools.
Our first stop was the Deafblind School, where we donated crutches, diapers, food supplies, and white canes for visually impaired learners. White canes were generously supported by the Lions Club of Huru, Nairobi, will help improve the learners' mobility, independence, and quality of life. We also spent quality time interacting with the students and staff, sharing moments of joy and encouragement.
Our second visit was to Kaptimbor Primary School, where we conducted a mentorship program for both girls and boys. We donated sanitary pads, refreshments, and, in support of our Reading Action Program, presented 350 books through the Old Books for New Eyes Initiative to help nurture a reading culture among the pupils.
The smiles, enthusiasm, and appreciation we witnessed throughout the day reminded us of the power of service and community partnership.
Let us continue colouring the world with smiles and remain united in service. 💙📚♿✨
