NCPB CEO CPA Samuel Ndung’u who was flanked by members of his management team today hosted a Chinese delegation led by Mr. Kong Lingjun, Chairman of the Standing Committee of Yangszou Municipal People's Congress of the People's Republic of China. The Chinese delegation comprised Chinese Embassy officials and Representatives of Famsun Company Limited which is headquartered in Yangszou, Jiangsu Province, China.
NCPB and the Chinese delegation held discussions on how to collaborate on improvement of Board's grain post-harvest management facilities.

The NCPB performed well at the 2026 Agricultural Society of Kenya Kisumu Regional Show. It came in first position in the Government Social Functions Stand, Second in the Medium Trade Stand Commercial and Industrial and third in both Theme interpretation Agro-Based and Best Agriculture Based Statutory Board categories.
