Hon. Peter Manyonge Palanga, Chairperson, Sectoral Committee on Lands, Housing and Physical Planning, responds to a request by Hon. Leah Wambui Ng’ang’a on the ownership and utilization of public land belonging to the Agricultural Training Centre (ATC) in Nakuru County.

Hon. Isabella Makori also responds to a request by Hon. Paul Waweru Warege on stray donkeys causing road safety concerns along the Maili Sita–Kagoto stretch in Kiamaina Wards, Bahati Constituency.

The House sits this afternoon, where Hon. Ann Wamaitha seeks statements on the welfare of Community Health Promoters (CHPs) and the County’s preparedness for the expected El Niño rains.

Responses are issued on the St. Peters' borehole in Kiamaina Ward, drainage challenges in Ogilgei, Mosop Ward and delays in implementation of approved development projects in Kiamaina Ward.

The House adjourns and will resume sittings on Tuesday, 25th May 2026.

The House is set to address a series of statements on water supply challenges, environmental safety, and infrastructure concerns across Nakuru County.

Hon. Wilson Mwangi 'Wajeff', (Menengai West) will seek clarification on the pump testing of the Tusemezane Borehole Project.

The House will also receive responses from the Chairperson of the Sectoral Committee on Water, Energy, Environment, Natural Resources and Climate Change, Hon. Rose Chepkoech, on concerns over deteriorating water quality and potential public health risks in the Chemarmar Water Supply System in Solai Ward, as well as alleged toxic wastewater discharge linked to Biashara Master in Ogilgei Farm, Mosop Ward.

The statements highlight growing concern over water safety, environmental protection and the functionality of key water projects across the County.
