As a first step towards roads improvement within Nakuru, Governor H.E Lee Kinyanjui has initiated a programme for Road improvement in Nakuru County dubbed "Boresha Barabara 2018" .
The programme comprises of three internal teams which will start work on Monday 8th January in three wards: Kiptagich, Mau Narok and Waseges and later head to all the other wards.
The Governor will officially Launch the Programme on Wednesday 10th January 2018 at 10: am in Waseges ward at a place called Mbogo-ini and later in Mau Narok shopping centre at 2: pm.
On Thursday 11th January, the Governor will head to Kiptagich shopping Centre from where he will launch the local initiative.
As a County government we would like to extend our invitation to all the residents across the wards to join the Governor during the launch of this programme.
The residents will have an opportunity to discuss with their government on how local roads can be improved and long term strategies for roads maintainance.
Roads improvement is one of the key pillars in Governor Lee's manifesto. We reckon that local development especially on our villages is tied to the quality of roads.
