2~June Ruto is the stylish firstborn daughter of President Ruto. She is a diplomat representing Kenya in Poland. She mostly maintains a low profile. But her wedding in May 2021 to Nigerian Alexander Ezenagu drew public attention.

William Ruto was injured during a political campaign rally in South Mugirango Constituency, Kisii County, on September 22, 2007, ahead of Kenya's general election.

Ruto, then an ODM leader, had travelled to Nyamarambe for a rally hosted by former Cabinet Minister Simeon Nyachae.

Shortly after his helicopter landed, a group of youths attacked his entourage by throwing stones and other objects. Some reports also mention arrows being used.

During the chaos, Ruto fell while trying to escape, injuring his left knee. His trousers were torn, he lost one of his shoes, and photographs showed him with a bleeding knee.

Police are searching for a woman accused of setting her ex-boyfriend's house on fire at the GSU Embakasi B Campus in Nairobi after allegedly finding him in the company of two other women.

According to police reports, the incident occurred at around 2:00 a.m. when the woman reportedly stormed the officer's Uni-Hut residence and found GSU officer with two female visitors. The encounter is said to have triggered a heated confrontation.

The officer reportedly escorted the two women out of the camp. However, while he was at the gate, colleagues alerted him that his mabati house had caught fire.

Fellow officers quickly responded and managed to contain the blaze before it spread to neighbouring houses.

Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi was Kenya’s second President and the longest-serving president in the country’s history.

*Early Life*
- *Born*: 2 September 1924 in Kurieng'wo village, Sacho, Baringo County, Kenya Colony
- *Ethnicity*: Tugen sub-group of the Kalenjin community
- *Family*: 5th child of Kabon, Chebii’s senior wife. "Toroitich" means "welcome home the cattle" — cattle were central to his community. His father died when he was 4, and his older brother raised him
- *Education*: Attended Africa Inland Mission school, then Tambach Teachers Training College. He worked as a school teacher until 1955

*Entry into Politics*
- *1955*: Elected to the Legislative Council for Rift Valley
- *1960*: Co-founded KADU — Kenya African Democratic Union — as a rival to Kenyatta’s KANU. KADU pushed for regionalism to protect smaller tribes
- *1963-1964*: After independence, Kenyatta convinced him to merge KADU into KANU. Moi was appointed to government
- *1967-1978*: Served as the 3rd Vice President of Kenya under Jomo Kenyatta

*Presidency: 1978 - 2002*
Moi became President on 22 August 1978 after Kenyatta’s death.
