APPRECIATION MESSAGE – HUMANITY POWER WALK 2026
The Kenya Red Cross Society, Nyeri Branch, extends its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the Humanity Power Walk 2026, held yesterday in Nyeri.
The event recorded an impressive turnout, with enthusiastic participation from schools, community members, partners, volunteers, and other stakeholders who came together in the true spirit of humanity and service.
We sincerely appreciate the unwavering support of our key partners, including the National Government, County Government of Nyeri,
Nyeri Water and Sanitation Company (NYEWASCO), Coca-Cola, Outspan Hospital, GTN Media, and many other organizations and individuals whose contributions played a vital role in making the event a success.
We are particularly honored that the walk was officially flagged off by CECM for Gender, Youth, Sports and Social Services, Nyeri County Government, whose presence underscored the importance of collective action in promoting humanitarian causes within our community.
Special appreciation goes to the County Fire and Rescue Department for conducting an informative fire safety sensitization session and practical fire drill demonstration, which greatly enriched the event and enhanced public awareness on emergency preparedness.
As a community united by compassion, we also took a moment of silence to honor and remember the victim of the tragic incident involving Utumishi Girls Academy. Our thoughts and prayers remain with the family, friends, and school community during this difficult time.
To our Board of Governance, staff members, volunteers, and organizing committee, thank you for your dedication, commitment, and countless hours of preparation. Your teamwork, professionalism, and selfless service were instrumental in ensuring the smooth planning and successful ex*****on of the event.
Together, we demonstrated the power of partnership, volunteerism, and humanity.
