PRESIDENT RUTO OFFICIATES THE OPENING OF THE 60TH HUDUMA CENTRE, KIMILILI, BUNGOMA COUNTY
As part of government's deliberate effort to enhance access to critical public services across the country, today the President H.E William Samoei Ruto officially opened the Huduma Centre — Kimilili, Bungoma County, becoming the 60th one-stop shop for government services, in a network of highly visited Huduma centres in Kenya.
Alongside colleague Cabinet Secretary for Cooperatives and MSMEs Hon. Wycliffe Oparanya, Principal Secretary for Public Service and Human Capital Development Dr. Jane Kere Imbunya, the Governor for Bungoma H.E Ken Lusaka, the area Member of Parliament Didmus Barasa, Huduma Kenya team led by the Chief Executive Officer Ben Kai Chilumo and other leaders, we accompanied the President in the opening ceremony.
The people Kimilili and neighboring constituencies will no longer travel to faraway Huduma Centres to access timely and quality government services. The government has deployed competent citizen-centric service providers at the Kimilili Huduma Centre to serve Kenyans.
The Huduma Centre — Kimilili is a success story of collaboration between the National Government Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF) under the patronage of the area of Member of Parliament Hon. Barasa and the Ministry of Public Service, Human Capital Development and Special Programmes through Huduma Kenya.
