I wrapped up the day in Abom Village, North Sakwa Ward, Bondo Constituency, where I joined fellow leaders and thousands of mourners in bidding a final farewell to Mr. Vitalis Adida, beloved husband of Siaya County Nominated MCA, Hon. Lorna Achieng Adida.

The loss of a loved one is never easy, and today, we stood with the family in grief, offering our prayers, comfort and support as they lay their beloved husband, father and family man to rest.

May God give Hon. Lorna Achieng, her children, relatives and the entire Adida family strength, comfort and courage during this difficult and painful period.

Rest in eternal peace, Mr. Vitalis Adida.

I joined My Ulafu Coordinator Mama Monica Oyiro during the funeral service and burial of her beloved son, the late Fredrick Oyiro.

This morning, I visited the family of the late Mzee Joab Onduso Atinga at their home in Nyanginja B Village, Randago Sub-location, South East Ward, to convey my condolences and stand with the family during this difficult period.

Mzee Joab Onduso Atinga was a former senior officer in the National Intelligence Service (NIS) and an uncle to ODM Party Leader, Dr. Oburu Oginga.

I conveyed my heartfelt condolences to the family, led by his wife, Mrs. Syprose Onduso, and joined them in prayer as they prepare to lay Mzee to rest on 29th August 2026.

May God grant the family strength, comfort and courage during this period of mourning, and may He grant the departed eternal rest.
