OPPORTUNITY! OPPORTUNITY! OPPORTUNITY!

Taita Taveta County Government in partnership with CAP -Youth Empowerment Institute and European Union (EU) would like to empower county youth through Basic Employability Skills Training (BEST) Model in the following professions;

1.Automobile
2.Hospitality
3.Hairdressing & Beauty Therapy
4.Security & Guarding System

The training will take a maximum of 3 months, all trainees will also be equipped with Entrepreneurship and Computer Skills and Applications.

Interested youth between the age of 18-28 Years are advised to attend interviews at Tsavo Plaza (Equity Bank-Voi) 3rd floor from 8:00am-5:00pm on 11th,12th & 16th April,2018.

Lorry park application forms can be collected from the Revenue Office at the Lorry park at a fee.You will be given the form on payment of a fee that is non-refundable.The lorry park has 20 shops,4 restaurants and 60 guest rooms plus 10 offices.This is a great business opportunity.The lorry park was officially opened by the Deputy President on 24th August 2015.

DATU Sawazisha fund Board members will be conducting evaluation and monitoring of the groups that received the fund in the first cycle.Ten groups benefitted from the Ksh.500,000 given out in that cycle.Much appreciation to the county government for this initiative.

Barazas to select Ward Management Committees beginning tomorrow. Itinyi, Kamukunji at 10.00 a.m for residents of Maungu, Bondeni and Itinyi,Marungu social hall Kibaoni at 2.00 p.m. for residents of Marungu and Kale.
On 13th,Wednesday at Miasenyi Chief's camp beginning at ten and later at 2.00 pm at Msharinyi Primary School.The committee will comprise of 11 members to be selected in public barazas by the community members.
