Today the CECM for Water Hon. Marley Dingiria led the Red Cross team in two different public barazas held in Buguta area and later on in Marungu area concerning the new Maungu Buguta Water project which is being done by Red Cross in partnership with the County Government of Taita Taveta. The project is targeting to benefit more than 16,000 and expected to be complete by June people . Red Cross is doing other projects related to this aimed at covering different areas including Kaloleni, Mbololo and Taveta with priority given to Buguta area. Accordong to Mr. Kuria (Project Coordinator), Red Cross team is very mich committed to complete the project the soonest possible time.The community members promised to give them their support in order to make the project succeed within the prescribed time.

Public Baraza at Rukanga where Youth groups, Women groups and PLWDS received theur cheques from County Govt in terms of loans and grants for the disabled groups. Thanks to the County Government for touching the lives of our people. Present was Madam Priscillah Mwangeka plus "Save our Queens" team representing H.E. Hope Mruttu's offices, Ward Admin, Area Chief plus Ass. Chiefs, Datu Sawazisha Fund Board members and the community members. Indeed it was a nice meeting.

CS Prof. Jacob Kaimenyi and other Government officials during title deeds issuing function at Buguta where several people from Marungu and Kasighau Wards received their title deeds after a long wait. The community members were assured that those who gave not collected theur title deeds today will get them at the sub location level instead of going to the lands office at Wundanyi.
