BOREHOLE REPAIRS AND RESTORATION UPDATE
Over the past two weeks, our water technical team has successfully repaired and restored multiple boreholes across various sub-counties, ensuring continued access to clean water for communities and livestock.
Eldas Sub-County
Eldas Ward borehole, The 9.2 motor was replaced and the collapsed gantry was rebuilt. The Wajir County Government in collaboration with Drip-Fundi restored this borehole. A critical water source for many.
Wajir South Sub-County
Abdille Gagab Borehole restoredShimbir Buul Borehole restored
Wajir East Sub-County
Konton Borehole, Fixed after motor failure
Wajir North Sub-County
Last week, the following boreholes were restored:
-Gurar
-Qudama
-Danaba
-Jibder
-Adadijole
-Batalu
-Nyata Borehole (restored two days ago)
Tarbaj Sub-County
Restored boreholes include:
-Ausmudule
-Majabow
-Burmayo
-Abdi Gacamey
-Sarman, We Installed a complete 9.2 submersible pump and motor.
Our Rapid Response Team are currently in Wajir West working on
-Waara Borehole
-Lolkuta Borehole
