On this day, The outgoing CECM Environment and Climate change Yakub M. Dahiye handed over the Department to the Incoming CECM Madam Habiba Ali Maalim. We wish our Outgoing CEC the best as he embarks on his new Assignment. Later, The CECs Proceeded in attending an introductory and Farewell meeting with Department staff. To our new CEC, We assured our unwavering support and commitment in exercising our Mandate. The exercise was witnessed by CCO Environment and Climate change Mr. Guhad, Directors from respective units, Technical Officers and Others.

These elephants were in wajir from April to date, they passed through Hadado, Barmil,wachir, Leheley, Argane towards Ibrahim Urey UpTo Gerile Somalia border. Now back to wajir west at Korich areas. They are likely going back to Isiolo.

On this day, The outgoing chief officers Mr Rahow and Ms Fardosa handed over their respective Department to the Incoming Chief Officer Mr. Mohammed A. Guhad. We wish our Outgoing COs the best as they embark on their new Assignment. The exercise was witnessed by Dr. Ahmed: Director Environment and Energy, Ms Halima Abdullahi and Director Wildlife and Tourism.
