ទន្ទឹមនឹងនេះដែរ ឯកឧត្តមរដ្ឋមន្ត្រី ក៏បានគូសបញ្ជាក់អំពីស្ថានភាពនយោបាយ សេដ្ឋកិច្ច សង្គម និងការអភិវឌ្ឍវិស័យទេសចរណ៍របស់កម្ពុជា ដោយបញ្ជាក់ថា កម្ពុជានៅតែជាគោលដៅទេសចរណ៍ប្រកបដោយសន្តិភាព ស្ថិរភាព សុវត្ថិភាព និងបដិសណ្ឋារកិច្ចដ៏កក់ក្តៅ ព្រមទាំងបានលើកឡើងអំពីយុទ្ធនាការ «កម្ពុជា៖ ព្រះរាជាណាចក្រអច្ឆរិយៈ ផ្តល់នូវភាពកក់ក្តៅ» និង «ទស្សនាកម្ពុជា នារដូវកាលបៃតង» ព្រមទាំងយុទ្ធនាការ «ប្រទេសបី គោលដៅមួយ» ដែលត្រូវបានឯកភាពដោយថ្នាក់ដឹកនាំនៃប្រទេសកម្ពុជា ឡាវ និងវៀតណាម។

Cambodia and Laos Strengthen Cooperation in Tourism and the Implementation of the “Three Countries, One Destination” Campaign for the Development and Prosperity of the Two Nations and Peoples

H.E. HUOT HAK, Minister of Tourism, received H.E. Sonexay Vannaxay, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic to the Kingdom of Cambodia, and senior colleagues for a courtesy call and discussion on strengthening and expanding cooperation in the tourism sector between the two countries at the Ministry of Tourism.

During this fruitful meeting, H.E. the Minister warmly welcomed and congratulated H.E. the Ambassador on his appointment as the new Ambassador and expressed his gratitude to the Government and people of Laos for their continued support to Cambodia in national, economic, and social development, under the spirit of solidarity and the long-standing traditional bonds of friendship that have lasted for 70 years as of 2026. The friendly relations between the two countries have been strengthened and expanded across various sectors, including tourism, further deepening mutually beneficial cooperation in line with the spirit of the “Comprehensive and Long-Lasting Strategic Partnership between Cambodia and Laos”, for the development and prosperity of both nations and peoples.

At the same time, H.E. the Minister highlighted Cambodia’s political, economic, and social situation as well as the development of the tourism sector, emphasizing that Cambodia remains a tourism destination characterized by peace, stability, safety, and warm hospitality. He also highlighted the campaigns “Cambodia: Kingdom of Wonder, Feel the Warmth” and “Visit Cambodia in Green Season”, as well as the “Three Countries, One Destination” campaign, which was agreed upon by the leaders of Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam.

H.E. the Ambassador expressed his appreciation for Cambodia’s rapid progress and development under the leadership of the Royal Government of Cambodia during the leadership mandates of Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN, President of the Senate, and Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei HUN MANET, Prime Minister. Furthermore, H.E. the Ambassador expressed his interest in Cambodia’s rich tourism potential and the infrastructure connecting tourism destinations across Cambodia, which enables Lao tourists to travel from Cambodia’s border provinces to the country’s beautiful coastal areas by road within a single day. H.E. the Ambassador also proposed exploring measures to facilitate travel for people living in the border provinces of the two countries, enabling them to travel by family vehicles to visit Angkor Wat in Siem Reap Province or Champasak Province, among other destinations.

In conclusion, H.E. the Minister requested cooperation from the Embassy of Laos in continuing to support the promotion of Cambodia’s tourism potential and the actual situation in Cambodia, promoting international tourism markets (Plus-One), and effectively implementing the “Three Countries, One Destination” campaign between Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam, with the aim of increasing tourist flows, strengthening connectivity between the two countries, and further expanding and reinforcing tourism cooperation. H.E. the Minister also requested H.E. the Ambassador’s assistance in coordinating invitations for H.E. the Minister of Culture and Tourism of Laos, authorities from the border provinces, business and investment communities, travel agencies, and the Lao private sector to participate in the 70th Anniversary of Cambodia-Laos Diplomatic Relations celebration, which is scheduled to be organized by the Ministry of Tourism in early September in Stung Treng Province.

It should also be noted that 2026 marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of official diplomatic relations between Cambodia and Laos. A series of events to commemorate the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations will be held from 6 to 9 September 2026 in Stung Treng Province.

The discussion focused on strengthening cooperation between the Ministry of Tourism and Hanuman Films to promote Cambodia's tourism potential in the European market, particularly the United Kingdom, elevate Cambodia's image and reputation globally, and discuss strategies to attract international filmmakers to shoot in Cambodia. This builds on the country's fame from the renowned Hollywood film Tomb Raider, as well as promotes Cambodia's reputation and tourism potential in Wanderlust and Geomagazines, a concrete and fruitful result of this excellent cooperation.

ក្នុងឱកាសនៃជំនួបប្រកបដោយផ្លែផ្កានេះ ឯកឧត្តមរដ្ឋមន្ត្រី បានសម្តែងការស្វាគមន៍យ៉ាងកក់ក្តៅចំពោះលោក Thomas Lammar និងបានថ្លែងអំណរគុណចំពោះរាជរដ្ឋាភិបាល និងប្រជាជនលុចសំបួ ដែលតែងតែគាំទ្រ និងបន្តពង្រឹងទំនាក់ទំនងមិត្តភាព និងកិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការជាមួយកម្ពុជា ជាពិសេសការចាប់អារម្មណ៍ និងការគាំទ្រដល់សាលាបណ្តុះបណ្តាលវិជ្ជាជីវៈទេសចរណ៍ (Vocational School of Tourism - VST) របស់ក្រសួងទេសចរណ៍ តាមរយៈដំណើរទស្សនកិច្ចរបស់គណៈប្រតិភូជាន់ខ្ពស់ចំនួនពីរលើកកន្លងមក។ ឯកឧត្តមរដ្ឋមន្ត្រី ក៏បានគូសបញ្ជាក់ថាជំនួបនាពេលនេះ ពិតជាបានឆ្លុះបញ្ចាំងពីការប្តេជ្ញាចិត្តរួម និងជាក់ស្តែងរបស់ប្រទេសទាំងពីរ ក្នុងការបន្តពង្រឹង និងពង្រីកកិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការលើវិស័យទេសចរណ៍ និងការផ្លាស់ប្តូរប្រជាជន និងប្រជាជនឱ្យកាន់តែជិតស្និទ្ធ។

ជាមួយគ្នានេះ ឯកឧត្តមរដ្ឋមន្ត្រី ក៏បានជម្រាបជូនអំពីស្ថានភាពនយោបាយ សេដ្ឋកិច្ច សង្គម និងការអភិវឌ្ឍវិស័យទេសចរណ៍របស់កម្ពុជា ដោយបញ្ជាក់ថា កម្ពុជានៅតែជាគោលដៅទេសចរណ៍ប្រកបដោយសន្តិភាព ស្ថិរភាព សុវត្ថិភាព និងបដិសណ្ឋារកិច្ចដ៏កក់ក្តៅ ព្រមទាំងបានលើកឡើងអំពីយុទ្ធនាការ «Cambodia: Kingdom of Wonder, Feel the Warmth» និង «ទស្សនាកម្ពុជា នារដូវកាលបៃតង» និងកិច្ចសហការជាមួយក្រុមហ៊ុនទេសចរណ៍ ក្រុមហ៊ុនអាកាសចរណ៍ អ្នកបង្កើតមាតិកា និងប្រព័ន្ធផ្សព្វផ្សាយអន្តរជាតិ ដើម្បីផ្សព្វផ្សាយគោលដៅទេសចរណ៍កម្ពុជា និងពង្រឹងការតភ្ជាប់ហេដ្ឋារចនាសម្ព័ន្ធសម្រាប់ការធ្វើដំណើរប្រកបដោយភាពងាយស្រួល និងសុវត្ថិភាព។

ជាកិច្ចឆ្លើយតប លោកភារធារី បានគូសបញ្ជាក់ពីការចាត់ទុកវិស័យទេសចរណ៍ជាវិស័យអាទិភាពមួយសម្រាប់កម្មវិធីសហប្រតិបត្តិទ្វេភាគី (Cambodia-Luxembourg Indicative Cooperation Programme) និងជំហរក្នុងការចូលរួមអភិវឌ្ឍធនធានមនុស្សក្នុងវិស័យទេសចរណ៍ និងបដិសណ្ឋារកិច្ចឱ្យបានដល់កម្រិតស្តង់ដារ និងកិត្តិនាមដែលប្រទេសលុចសំបួត្រូវបានទទួលស្គាល់ថាលើពិភពលោកជាប្រទេសនាំមុខមួយលើផ្នែកទេសចរណ៍ និងបដិសណ្ឋារកិច្ច។

ក្នុងជំនួបប្រកបដោយផ្លែផ្កានេះ ឯកឧត្តមរដ្ឋមន្រ្តី បានថ្លែងអំណរគុណយ៉ាងជ្រាលជ្រៅចំពោះការជួយជ្រោមជ្រែងរបស់រាជរដ្ឋាភិបាលលុចសំបួក្នុងការជួយអភិវឌ្ឍន៍វិស័យទេសចរណ៍កម្ពុជា។ ឯកឧត្តមរដ្ឋមន្រ្តីក៏បានស្នើសុំកិច្ចសហការពីស្ថានទូត ក្នុងការជួយផ្សព្វផ្សាយគោលដៅ និងសក្តានុពលទេសចរណ៍ដ៏សំបូរបែបរបស់កម្ពុជា ការរៀបចំដំណើរទស្សនកិច្ចសិក្សា (FAM Trip) ពីផ្នែកឯកជន និងសារព័ត៌មានពីប្រទេសលុចសំបួមកស្វែងយល់ពីសក្តានុពលទេសចរណ៍ និងកាលានុវត្តភាពវិនិយោគរបស់កម្ពុជា ការលើកកម្ពស់ការវិនិយោគក្នុងវិស័យទេសចរណ៍ និងការពង្រឹងការផ្លាស់ប្តូរប្រជាជន និងប្រជាជន សំដៅបង្កើនលំហូរភ្ញៀវទេសចរ និងពង្រីកកិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការរវាងប្រទេសទាំងពីរឱ្យកាន់តែរឹងមាំ។

Luxembourg Embassy Affirms Stance to Support the Ministry of Tourism in Training and Human Resource Development in Tourism and Hospitality

His Excellency Hout Hak, Minister of Tourism, granted an audience to Mr. Thomas Lammar, Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of Luxembourg to the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, in charge of development cooperation for the Kingdom of Cambodia, along with senior colleagues, to pay a courtesy call and discuss the strengthening and expansion of tourism cooperation between the Kingdom of Cambodia and Luxembourg at the Ministry of Tourism Headquarters

During this fruitful meeting, His Excellency the Minister extended a warm welcome to Mr. Thomas Lammar and expressed gratitude to the Government and people of Luxembourg for their continued support in strengthening friendly relations and cooperation with Cambodia. Particular appreciation was noted for their interest and support toward the Vocational School of Tourism (VST) of the Ministry of Tourism, demonstrated through two previous high-level delegation visits. His Excellency the Minister also emphasized that this meeting reflects the joint and practical commitment of both countries to continuously strengthen and expand cooperation in the tourism sector, as well as foster closer people-to-people exchanges.

Additionally, His Excellency the Minister briefed the delegation on Cambodia's political, economic, and social landscape, alongside the development of its tourism sector. He affirmed that Cambodia remains a peaceful, stable, and safe tourism destination offering warm hospitality. He also highlighted the campaigns "Cambodia: Kingdom of Wonder, Feel the Warmth" and "Visit Cambodia in the Green Season", as well as ongoing collaborations with tourism companies, airlines, content creators, and international media to promote Cambodia's tourist destinations and enhance travel connectivity for greater ease and safety.

In response, the Chargé d’Affaires highlighted that tourism is considered a priority sector under the Cambodia-Luxembourg Indicative Cooperation Programme. He reaffirmed Luxembourg's commitment to participating in the development of human resources in tourism and hospitality up to the high standards and reputation for which Luxembourg is globally recognized as a leading nation in these fields.

During this productive discussion, His Excellency the Minister expressed profound gratitude for the Royal Government of Luxembourg's assistance in developing Cambodia's tourism sector. His Excellency the Minister further requested the Embassy's cooperation in promoting Cambodia's rich tourism destinations and potential; organizing Familiarization (FAM) trips for the private sector and media from Luxembourg to explore Cambodia's tourism potential and investment opportunities; promoting investment in the tourism sector; and enhancing people-to-people exchanges to increase tourist flows and further solidify cooperation between the two nations.

It should be noted that as of 2026, official diplomatic relations between Cambodia and Luxembourg span several decades and have been continuously strengthened and expanded across numerous sectors. This is especially highlighted by the royal visit to the Kingdom of Cambodia by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Guillaume Jean Joseph Marie of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, accompanied by His Excellency Xavier Bettel, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, and Minister for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Affairs, from March 29 to April 2, 2025. For this year, 2026, a new chapter of cooperation is being forged specifically within the tourism sector.
