Introduction
Bandanh Chaktomuk is a network of men having sex with men (MSM) and Transgender (TG) people in the country. It was first convened in 2006 and is registered as a MSM/TG network with the Ministry of Interior (MOI).BC exists to protect and promote MSM and TG rights and ensure access to health and social services that are tailored to their needs. The goal of the Bandah Chatomuk program
is to assist in reversing and halting the Spread of HIV/AIDS among Men Having Sex with Men and Transgender Community in Cambodia. Bandanh Chaktomok is a neutral network which does not discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, religious belief, and without political affiliation either through direct involvement with or through provision of physical, financial or human resources to any political party or person. Mission
“BC serves as a legal entity of MSM and TG in community to seek support and promote participatory process in the design, planning, implementation of its strategies and programmes with the aim to eliminate discrimination against MSM and TG and to improve access to reproductive and sexual health services and care, and livelihood, employment, and legal services thus lead to MSM and TG’s decent life and safety.
