'Hi, I’m Chea Mesa. I live in Siem Reap City, Cambodia. I have four children—two daughters and two sons. My oldest is 20, and my youngest is 9.

I became a ChildSafe Agent in 2012, after being selected and trained by Friends-International social workers. I really wanted to help as I saw many vulnerable children living on the streets without education or opportunities.

Over the years, I’ve supported many children who need help—reporting cases, helping sick children get to hospitals, guiding children at crosswalks for safety, and connecting them with Kaliyan Mith - Siem Reap & Poipet services like job opportunities and vocational training.

I also help my community learn more about the ChildSafe Movement. If people know how to protect children and take action when they see someone in need, we can build a safer society for everyone!'
