🦈Grey reef shark
(Carcharhinus amblyrhynchos)

The grey reef shark is a member of the family Carcharhinidae. It can reach a maximum size of 255cm and live for at least 20 years.

Grey reef sharks live in tropical waters associated with coral reefs, particularly near drop-offs, and can reach depths up to 280m.

They can be observed in the parks of Parc National de Mohéli and Parc National Mitsamiouli Ndroudé but are likely to be present around the three islands.
