Congratulations to our 25 Most Remarkable Teen Mia ! 🎉🎉

Soaring Beyond Expectations! Mia’s Incredible Journey.

Today, we celebrate an extraordinary young woman, Mia, a proud graduate of Cotton Thomas Comprehensive School, whose journey is a powerful reminder that challenges do not have to define our limits.

Mia is blind, and her journey through school was not without its challenges. But with determination, perseverance, support, and an unwavering belief in what she could accomplish, she graduated from Cotton Thomas Comprehensive School to Washington Archibald High School.

And today, we celebrate an incredible achievement.

Mia has successfully completed CXC CSEC, earning 8 passes out of 9 subjects - including an impressive 5 Grade 1s and 3 Grade 2s!

At Cotton Thomas Comprehensive School, we strongly believe in and continually promote the importance of parental support in the education and development of our students. Mia’s mother exemplified this beautifully. She was there for Mia: supporting, encouraging, advocating, and standing beside her throughout the journey. Her presence and commitment remind us of the powerful difference that a supportive parent can make in a child’s life.

Mia’s success is a testament to her own hard work and determination, supported by her family, her teachers, and everyone who believed in her along the way.

At Cotton Thomas, our motto is “Soaring Beyond Expectations,” and Mia is truly living proof of those words.

Mia, we are immensely proud of you! Your achievement is not only a personal victory; it is an inspiration to every student who has ever faced a barrier and wondered if they could overcome it.

Keep soaring, Mia! Your journey is only beginning, and we can't wait to see where your wings take you next.

Congratulations! Your CTCS family is super proud of you! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
